  • An evaluation of an action learning program(Bob Dick)

    Aims:
     to achieve both action (that is, change) and research (that is, understanding).
     Check the effective of action learning learning through good processes and appropriate participation
     It tries to collect adequate data, and interpret it well.
     Clarifying roles of using action learning programm.

    Instrmunt tools
     The interviews(explained role in some detail. It made clear what use would be made of the data they provided to us).
     Group interviews(to allow more systematic data collection and more interpretation of the data by participants.).
     Comparing participants and other stakeholders(In comparing our data and interpretations to those provided by the other evaluator)
     Meeting with providers(included program designers, project facilitators, and presenters use to providing information about these program)

    Interactive Whiteboard Evaluation (2000)
  • Brief description :
    This evaluation done by Anna Smith with MirandaNet Fellows, Boston Spa Comprehensive School . It is about establishing the interactive whiteboard in the school , the impression of using it as a technology tool and the technical problem the teacher faced .
    The evaluation techniques :
  • Interview .
  • Questionnaire .
    The aspects that the Questionnaire covered are :
    1- way to present the information .( the teacher was amazed in how it present the information . They think that it can motivate students understanding)
    2- space that it need ( It take a large space m and we have limit space in the class room)
    3- light (too much light in the room as a consequence of having no blinds making the image difficult to see)
    4- user friendly
    5- easy to use ( so it took five to ten minutes to feel confident enough to use it in the classroom)
    6- setting up it
    7- Preparation Time to learn how to use it .
